In the lab
Ultrasound system through time, the Sequoia system (left) is the newest, in the back, we have the Siemens S300 and in the front, we have the precursor of both! Photo of the first day, we unpacked the Verasonics Ultrasound Research system in the lab! We can see Dr. Ivan Rosado-Mendez excited about this new acquisition. We 3D printed these transducers at the Makerspace at UW-Madison! Was a cool experience. First, we 3D scanned the original transducer and then they were printed! We use them to create holders for the transducer to reduce user dependency whenever we are doing experiments. Here's the 3D scanning process to create the transducer modelsUnboxing and weighting our new Quality Control phantoms (12/4/2023)
