Dr. Helen Feltovich, MD, MS, is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist and Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist. She is a Professor in the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and holds a Scientist position in the Department of Medical Physics at University of Wisconsin-Madison. As a Principal Investigator of the Quantitative Ultrasound Lab and in partnership with Dr. Hall, Dr. Feltovich laid ground on the research line on ultrasound-based quantitative biomarkers on cervical remodeling during pregnancy. In partnership with General Electric HealthCare, She is currently extending this research line to the application of artificial intelligence to obstetrics ultrasound for assessing the risk of preterm birth.

Dr. Feltovich received a Master of Science in Environmental and Public Health with distinction in Biostatistics and a medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine (Alpha Omega Alpha). She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oregon Health and Science University and fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Vermont.

Dr. Feltovich has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, has authored numerous book chapters and is the co-editor of a leading textbook, Obstetric Imaging. Among her several contributions to professional organizations, She currently serves on the Board of Governors of the American Society for Ultrasound in Medicine and the Advisory Council and Scientific Committee of the International Society for Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
