Hayley Whitson

Program: Medical Physics

Short bio –  Hayley was born and raised in Sitka, Alaska. She received a B.A. in Physics in 2012 from Willamette University in Salem, OR and a M.S. degree in Medical Physics from Oregon Health & Science University, Portland, OR, in 2017. Her research interests include the quantification of ultrasonic scattering and absorption for tissue characterization and the development of quantitative imaging biomarkers in ultrasound.

Hobbies: Hayley’s hobbies include vegetable and flower gardening, walking and playing with her dog Kora, and trying new foods, recipes, and restaurants.
